YOUR FIRST REMOTE
How Does This Work?
Your live remote session uses the Zoom video conferencing platform.
After you schedule an appointment, you’ll receive an email with the Zoom information, as well as a guide for setting up an easy supported restorative yoga position.
You’ll receive a link to your video meeting via internet (computer or smartphone), as well as a dial-in number that will allow you to join by phone for audio-only. Phone sessions are a good option if your internet connection is unstable.
Are There Advantages to Remote Sessions?
Save time + energy -- No traffic to get to your appointment.
You'll be in the comfort and security of your home.
Learning how to set up at home means you can re-create anytime you want or need.
After the session, you can stay and enjoy the comfy supported position as long as you like -- No need to get up and deal with traffic afterwards!
At Your Appointment Start Time
Please follow the Zoom link or dial-in information to join our meeting at your appointment time and day.
During Your Session
First, I want to know how you're doing. What are your concerns right now? What are you feeling, and how it is affecting you? What are your goals for the session? I'm here to listen. I'll use this information to customize your session.
Next, we'll talk about what to expect during the trance part of your session. We'll check in about your restorative yoga set-up or "nest," and I can answer any questions to maximize your comfort. We'll do a quick sound check.
Then we'll start the hypnotic guided meditation part of your session. This is customized for each client, and each session. The trance part usually lasts about 45 minutes.
After the trance part, it's good to check in for a few minutes. After we end our meeting, there's no where to drive to, you can continue stay in your comfy position, or you may feel energized and want to continue your day. Either way is fine. It's your choice.
After Your Session
Within 24 hours after your session, I will email you with a link to an audio recording of the trance part of your session, which you can stream from SoundCloud. Listening to your recording a few times a week (or more) will maximize your benefits. Many people listen as they get ready to fall asleep at night. It's fine to fall asleep to it.
